The Homiens Art Prize is an international, non-acquisitive art prize (valued at $37,000 AUD annually) open to all artists and art forms. The Prize offers egalitarian, accessible, and democratic support for artists, awarded every two months. Homiens is proud to celebrate large number of deserving artists; exhibiting their art online, where it can be viewed for free by anyone. In this spirit, Homiens also offers prestigious publication opportunities, and works to raise the visibility and public profiles of the artists they champion.
- 10 Winners per round are exhibited by Homiens, each receive an unrestricted cash prize of $400 USD, are published in our exhibition catalog, receive an optional interview, feature in our prestigious annual publication The Homiens 60, and may request a letter of recommendation from our Jurors.
- 18 Shortlisted artists exhibit with Homiens, and are published online and in the Homiens Art Prize exhibition catalogue.
- Up to 60 Longlisted artists are celebrated on the Homiens website.
- All entrants considered for exhibition by Homiens.
- All entrants may elect to access Jurors’ feedback.
