This longest running art show in regional Victoria attracts artists from all over Victoria and interstate.
Our judges each year are curators from the National Gallery of Victoria and consistently praise the variety and high standard of the 500-600 artworks.
The 51st exhibition was once again a resounding success, with 22% of exhibits being sold.
The Rotary Art Show committee strives to encourage new and emerging artists and innovative use of both traditional and modern media techniques. Our ten categories are evidence of this, while the Grow West acquisitive prize presents a unique and interesting interpretive challenge.
Our 2024 judge, Edwina Green, is an NGV curator and multidisciplinary artist based in Narrm (Melbourne.) Her practice utilises painting, mixed media, video, sculpture, and cultural installation. Completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Melbourne in 2019, she has exhibited in an extensive range of exhibitions both locally and internationally.
