The Valley Sounds music festival will light up local venues from Thursday 25 June to Sunday 5 July – and this year, it’s bigger and better.
This year we’re putting the power in your hands, with venues and artists invited to apply for funding to present your own music gig. Venue owners and operators can engage the musicians they want to perform, and musicians can negotiate with the venues they want to play.

Formal Expressions of Interest for venues, artists, and producers who wish to participate are open now, and will close on Sunday 10 May at 11:59pm.
Funding options include opportunities for businesses to program solo artists, small acoustic bands or multi-night shows. Artists should ensure their EOI is accompanied with a Moonee Valley based venue partner to meet the eligibility criteria.
