The Victorian Coalition Government has announced its new partnership with the Wakakirri Association to keep high school students on stage after the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge Foundation announced last year that it would not be hosting the annual event in 2013.

Ryan Smith, the Minister for Youth Affairs said the Coalition Government was disappointed to hear of the Foundation’s decision, but remained committed to providing opportunities for young Victorians to participate in a similar competition by providing support to the Wakakirri Association to stage a similar event.
