Thylacine drama wins two Melbourne Fringe awards

Melbourne duo Sarah Hamilton and Justine Campbell are bound for New Zealand after winning a Fringe touring award.

Although the Melbourne Fringe closed on Sunday, the festival’s annual Professional Development Awards, presented Saturday night, aim to offer shows a life beyond the duration of the festival.

Two-woman theatre show They Saw a Thylacine was awarded both Best Performance and the Tiki Tour Ready Award, supported by New Zealand Fringe, at Saturday’s closing night awards and party.
