Sydney Council unanimously endorses Live Music Action Plan

Helping artists and musicians stage performances in non-traditional venues is one of the plan’s key goals.

Sydney City Council moved last night to unanimously accept the recommendations of its Live Music and Performance Action Plan, designed to reinvigorate the city’s ailing live music scene after decades of neglect.

The plan will also assist independent theatre makers and other performing artists, said Sydney’s Lord Mayor Clover Moore.
