Resale Royalty Scheme hits $11 million milestone

While Australia’s Resale Royalty Scheme has hit speed bumps over the past decade, it’s on the path to growth, with new figures released.

Today (5 April), Australia’s Resale Royalty Scheme announced it had made the $11 million milestone. It’s good news for the scheme, which has struggled with finding traction and evenness over the past decade.

‘The scheme’s success lies in its ability to recognise the ongoing rights of an artist through the commercial resale of their artwork,’ said Copyright Agency CEO, Josephine Johnston.
