Corporate figure Jane Hemstritch has been appointed as the new Chairman of Victorian Opera.
The retiring Chairman Graeme Willersdorf served on the Victorian Opera Board since the company was established in 2005.
Premier and Minister for the Arts Ted Baillieu announced the new appointment at Opera on a White Night, Victorian Opera’s Gala Concert for Melbourne’s White Night at Hamer Hall on Saturday 23 February.
