Australia’s long-awaited National Cultural Policy, Creative Australia, was unveiled today. Federal Arts Minister Simon Crean will brief a select audience on the highlights of the policy at the National Press Club in Canberra, simulcast on ABC News 24 at 12.30pm.

The policy is an official strategy for the arts, culture and creativity in Australia. It is the first document of its kind to be published in almost two decades and is hoped to effectively steer arts and culture in the right direction, strengthening our unique stories and culture.
