Derek Young is preparing to step down from the Board after spending the last eight years as Chair of the Melbourne Theatre Company, and 19 years on the Board of Management. He makes way for new MTC Chair Terry Moran, who was elected unanimously to begin in January 2014.
Young claims he never intended to stay so long. ‘My 19 years on the MTC Board, eight as Chair have simply flown,’ he said.
