In another blow to the nation’s live music scene, one of Sydney’s most iconic venues suffering bureaucratic woes while another in Melbourne is under threat from a residential development.
Live music venue, the Corner Hotel may be under threat by a proposed 13 level apartment tower planned for the area.
The planned building has 43 serviced apartments and a basement café. Located at 63-65 Swan Street, in Richmond, the tower will be directly across from the Corner Hotel, situated at number 57 Swan Street.
