India’s first arts biennale kicks off

The small Indian city of Kochi is hosting India’s first ever arts biennale festival which will feature the works of prominent Indian and international artists.

The next three months is sure to transform the small Indian port-city of Kochi into a thriving hub of arts and culture, courtesy of India’s very first arts biennale. Apart from hosting the biennale, Kochi is also set to be the focus of the event in quite a different way, as organisers have focused heavily on the history of Kochi as an overarching theme throughout the entire event.
