Healing Songs concert concludes Wheatbelt project

Noongar Elders and community members performed live at Kellerberrin the songs they had written over six months in the Voices of the Wheatbelt: Healing Songs project.

For six intensive months Noongar Elders and community members from Kellerberrin and Quairading had worked with musicians and songwriters Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse to tell their stories in CAN WA’s Voices of the Wheatbelt: Healing Songs project. Come December 13 at the Prev function venue in Kellerberrin it was time to perform. Eighty or more people were there to hear their voices sing straight from the heart.
