Regional Arts Victoria (RAV) is currently compiling its Education and Families program for 2014, which means if you have a workshop or a production that you think is a perfect fit, then you have until 5pm on May 24 to submit your Expression of Interest.
To get an idea of what RAV likes to program for education and families it’s a good idea to flip through this year’s program. To get the gig you will have to demonstrate that your work is innovative, high‐quality and entertaining. Fair enough. It will have to be appropriate to a school and community context. Naturally, that’s your audience. It has to stimulate ideas and generate post‐performance discussion, because that’s what happens in an incursion or a workshop. You will have to present work that has all the qualities of excellent practice in presenting the arts to children and young people.
