David Walsh; Wheeler Centre
Ears usually prick when gambler, gallerist and gallanter David Walsh announces news of “the next thing”, his reputation for cutting edge creative thinking has placed his museum Mona (Museum of Old and New Art) on the global map.
But rather than the conventional press conference or media release circulated, Walsh turned to his Mona blog with an entry on 13 December simply titled Stuff we are planning to do.
Gina Fairley is ArtsHub's Senior Contributor, after 12 years in the role as National Visual Arts Editor. She has worked for extended periods in America and Southeast Asia, as gallerist, arts administrator and regional contributing editor for a number of magazines, including Hong Kong based Asian Art News and World Sculpture News.
