Cabaret Soirée returns to Perth

An eight-week season of intimate performance pays tribute to such performers as Annie Lennox and Dorothy Fields.

Featuring eight acts over eight weeks, the latest season of Cabaret Soirée features a handpicked mix of Western Australian and interstate artists, including Amanda Harrison (Wicked, We Will Rock You), Christa Hughes (Machine Gun Fellatio) and Jessie Gordon – the latter backed by a nine-piece band playing the hits of the Roaring Twenties.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management. Richard is a life member of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, and was awarded the status of Melbourne Fringe Living Legend in 2017.
