The role of art in understanding and contributing to urban change was explored at Wednesday’s Transformations: Art and the City, a symposium hosted by RMIT University’s Art, Cities and Transformation Research Group and the Design Research Institute.

With the premise that creativity is both enabling and advantageous, professionals and students across public and private sectors met to discuss the future of Melbourne, and the role of creative practice in shaping the contemporary and growing city.
