It appears that Adelaide’s annual ‘Mad March’ may just be getting a little too mad. At least this appears to be what the South Australian government believes, after Premier Jay Weatherill recently announced the implementation of a taskforce who will “look at how all these events are actually relating to each other” (The Australian).

The incident that appears to have sparked the investigation occurred when celebrated composer Ennio Morricone’s concert was interrupted with car engine sounds from the nearby Clipsal 500 race. The 5,000 people attending the concert were forced to listen to the car noises for 40 minutes before Mr. Weatherill, who was present at the Morricone concert, had to contact Clipsal organizers to stop the race.
