A place for ‘wondrous things’: new arts precinct opens to the public

Melbourne’s newest cultural precinct, Collingwood Yards, has opened to the public after a long gestation.

Featuring a carefully curated mix of arts and cultural organisations and small businesses, Collingwood Yards opened its doors to the public on Saturday.

The new cultural precinct was developed on the site of the old Collingwood Technical School (later the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE) which first opened its doors in 1912.
