Damian Vick’s striking red metallic structure Moment is an intricate 7 x 7 metre permanent steel sculpture. The 3 tonne installation sits above ground level and is comprised of 750 machine cut triangles. In preparation for arrangement and assembly, Vick developed a system of code, labelling each triangle to ensure the structure could be installed safely and accurately. Each section was installed by a team of three onto the Guild facade in the order Vick had mapped out through this code.
