Melbourne Theatre Company will use the largest single private donation in the company’s history to launch a Foundation with the aim of attracting major philanthropic support.
The company has announced the donation of $1 million from the Little Foundation as it launched the MTC Foundation. The funds will be used to support play readings, new writing commissions and family and education programs, all of which are primarily funded by donations.
