Sharing a small, fluorescent-lit hotel room with a handful of Senators isn’t normal behaviour for many artists or arts managers. Nor is sitting neatly in a row as colleagues read one by one from prepared statements and answer an onslaught of questions from politicians from the Greens and ALP.
