The Junction Arts Festival team reflect on the festival’s past, present and future at Artlands 2021.

The wheel has turned full circle for Junction Arts Festival, originally presented as a one-off event as part of the 2010 Regional Arts Australia (RAA) conference in Launceston.

‘And I think it also resonated so heavily with the City of Launceston and other funding partners, because from that [first festival], which was to be a one-off, the support was so great that it actually then ended up being a continual event,’ she said.
