Contrary to many employers' popular belief, one is never 'too old' to get a job. We offer some tips for mature-aged workers who might be finding it tough to find work.

Job hunters who are over 50 years old, out of work and financially unable to retire usually have it tough in the job market. While age discrimination is illegal, most older workers would agree it still haunts them.

In 2005, the Australian Bureau of Statistics released data confirming almost half of job seekers aged 55 years and over said they weren’t successful getting jobs because employers considered them to be ‘too old.’
