Many of us are looking forward to a few days off and some extra sleep-ins over the break… Or are we?

Creative workers can view their work more as a vocation than a job, which can make it harder to switch off and rest.

But some of the best ideas can arrive while we’re in off-mode. Think of Lin Manuel Miranda’s picking up an airport copy of the biography of Alexander Hamilton to read on holiday that led to one of the most successful musicals in recent history.
