Shake up your five year plan

When your career begins to veer off track it might be a good idea to get out that good old five year plan and make some much-needed changes.

Often, things don’t go quite as planned. Rather than feeling disappointing when you take a look at your five year career plan and realise you’ve accomplished none of the above, why not alter your plan to suit your changing needs and lifestyle?


Nobody ever said you have to stick to the plan. If you’ve found a new interest or uncovered a tantalising career prospect that didn’t exist three years ago, it’s time to shake up that old plan with some new career goals. As we all know, the world is constantly changing. Often you’ll find that five year plans simply can’t keep up with the rapid changes in technology or the workforce.
