Keep it positive

Keeping up that positive attitude is absolutely essential, even during the most grueling of job hunts.

Everyone tends to start out with a positive attitude. Whether you’ve just graduated from university or just handed in your letter of resignation, those negative feelings generally don’t tend to sink in until after you’ve received the first lot of rejection letters (or, even worse, no response at all).

Hard as it might be, the trick to any job hunt is not to despair. Remember that positive attitude you started out with? You need to bring it back. If you don’t, it’s guaranteed your cover letters will get sloppier and sloppier and your CV will remain untouched and untailored to the jobs you’re applying for.
