So you failed at something. Rather than weeping over lost opportunities and obsessing over the ‘should haves’, ‘could haves’, try to treat failure as a learning experience and take the opportunity to consider the things you could have done differently. Without further ado, begin working on your next project, keeping in mind the things you learned during your last concentrated attempt.

Failure is not necessarily a measure of your talent or abilities. Just because you didn’t get the part you wanted or the job you applied for, it doesn’t mean you don’t have the talent or skill to succeed in what you want. A fear of failure can often hold people back from making another attempt at something. But if you never try, how will you ever succeed? Not to mention, if you fear failure so much that you stop to take risks, how will you ever truly appreciate the joys of success?
