Australian galleries rank well in international visitor report
An annual global report on attendance at art galleries and museums shows that Australia leads the world with contemporary shows, with the NGV at the fore.

Last week The Art Newspaper released its annual 2015 Visitor Figures report for art galleries and museums globally. The survey pulls together data from over 500 museums and galleries internationally, looking at audience and exhibition trends.
Gina Fairley is ArtsHub's Senior Contributor, after 12 years in the role as National Visual Arts Editor.
