Creative industries strategy open for submissions

The development of Victoria's Creative Industries Strategy is underway with the launch of a discussion paper.

Artists and members of the arts industry, as well as the wider community, are being called upon to contribute to the development of Victoria’s first state-wide creative industries strategy.

The first step in the strategy was taken today with the launch of a discussion paper, Let’s get creative about Victoria’s future, which people ​are invited to respond to online.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management. Richard is a life member of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, and was awarded the status of Melbourne Fringe Living Legend in 2017. In 2020 he was awarded the Sidney Myer Performing Arts Awards' Facilitator's Prize.
