Australia Council announces new CEO

The Australia Council for the Arts has today welcomed the appointment of Adrian Collette AM as its incoming Chief Executive Officer.

Currently employed as the Vice-Principal (Engagement) at the University of Melbourne, Adrian Collette AM was today (Friday 12 October) announced as the new CEO of the Australia Council for the Arts. 

Collette, whose career to date also includes a 16 year stint as Opera Australia’s Chief Executive and 10 years in the publishing sector, will commence in his new role in January 2019.
