An online petition to name one of Melbourne’s laneways after Chrissy Amphlett has been gaining support.

Jessica Adams, author and writer from Time Out Melbourne, started the petition two months ago with the blessing of Amphlett’s husband Charley Drayton, after she heard the news of the Australian rock star’s death. The petition has reached over 6,500 supporters.
