Your role
As the Senior Project Officer, Writing Australia, you will provide high level planning and delivery support for projects and programs that contribute to the strategic objectives of Writing Australia.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the end-to-end delivery of new and existing investment programs, including but not limited to international projects, Prime Minister’s Literary Awards and the National Poet Laureate.
- Coordinating and supporting the preparation of Writing Australia Council meetings, ensuring agendas and briefing materials are accurate and delivered on time.
- Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve key project outcomes while identifying and responding to opportunities and challenges in the sector to shape program development and delivery.
- Working with the Multi-Year Investment, Investment Analysis, and relevant teams to gather and analyse information on literature investments made by Creative Australia, state and territory governments.
- Overseeing the administration of Writing Australia projects and programs, including payments, travel and logistics, expenditure monitoring and reporting.
- Drafting project plans, proposals, briefings, and reports to support Writing Australia programs and initiatives.
- Undertaking scoping, planning and refinement for future projects and programs and providing the Director Writing Australia with risk identification and recommendations to inform effective decision making.

- Salary of $86,578 per annum + 15.4% superannuation
