Come join our innovative and collaborative City Culture team and deliver transformative public art projects. This role focuses on innovation, creative excellence, and continuous service improvement to deliver best practice cultural outcomes for the City of Parramatta. It aims to enhance awareness of Parramatta as a global city and key cultural destination. We foster a multidisciplinary approach to our collective work and welcome resourcefulness, initiative, subject matter expertise and highly developed interpersonal and cultural awareness skills.

This role focuses on innovation, creative excellence, and continuous service improvement to deliver best practice cultural outcomes for the City of Parramatta. It aims to enhance awareness of Parramatta as a global city and key cultural destination. 

This role is responsible for leading Council-initiated public art projects across the City of Parramatta Local Government Area (LGA). It also provides expert advice about public art to internal and external stakeholders, assesses public art components of capital infrastructure projects and major private developments, and ensures alignment with Council’s strategic objectives. Additionally, it guides and delivers actions in Council’s Cultural Strategy (Creative Parramatta) relating to public art.
