MVA is looking for an experienced arts administrator with good organisational , admin and sales skills to join our Queensland team.

Musica Viva Australia (MVA) exists to create and support a vibrant chamber music sector which is accessible to people of all backgrounds across Australia.
We work together to help create an Australia where chamber music thrives and where people of all ages, cultures and communities have access to, and learn to appreciate, the vital role of music in building a stronger, more creative world. We are seeking a part-time (3 days per week) arts management administrator to join our MVA team in Queensland. As the “face of Musica Viva Australia” in Queensland this position is expected to develop and sustain working relationships with stakeholders including teachers, subscribers, donors and artists in the delivery of MVA programs in Queensland. The role also has a telephone sales focus to promote, sell and coordinate Musica Viva Australia in Schools (MVAIS) programs in Queensland.

Assisting the State Manager and State Coordinator and working across all aspects of MVA including Concerts, Education and Emerging Artist programs, the qualities that will make you successful in this role include:
- Good organisational and administration skills and excellent attention to detail, ideally with some experience using the Office suite of software.  
- Confident communication skills, with experience in customer service and telephone sales desirable.
- Ability to follow processes with accuracy and complete tasks independently.
- Experience in CRM programs (Tessitura or similar) is desirable – training will be provided. 
- Experience in, or understanding of, the arts and education sectors in Queensland is desirable.
