Your role

We’re on the lookout for a Project Officer, Capability Development to join us in supporting the successful delivery of Capability Development programs that develop skills, thinking and networks that address sector challenges and unearth new possibilities to support the sustainability of the cultural and creative industries

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing high level administrative and project coordination support to the Capability Development team in the delivery of programs, events and workforce development initiatives
  • Contributing to planning documents, proposals, briefings, newsletters and progress reports within the Capability Development team, collaborating, coordinating and assembling requests with team members and other staff 
  • Providing support to the Capability Development team with the application management system (Fluxx) and liaise with internal teams regarding workflows
  • Providing administrative and logistical support across procurement, contracting, travel coordination, accessibility provisions as well as event and program delivery
  • Supporting participant communication and engagement before, during and after program activities to ensure effective and full participation
  • Supporting the Capability Development team in managing outreach strategies, application enquiries, assessment, and participant notifications
  • Monitoring program budgets and expenditure ensuring invoices are properly coded and spreadsheets are maintained and escalating concerns as needed 
  • Coordinating the Capability Development calendar, monthly reports and internal news posts, delivered to all staff
