Presenter Services Coordinator
St Martins is looking for a Presenter Services Coordinator to be our contact point with the artists, presenters and organisations using our spaces.

Location: 28 St Martins Lane, South Yarra VIC 3141
Position Type: part-time, 0.4 – 0.6 FTE, flexible
optional FOH casual hours will be available at times
Salary: $75,000 – $77,000 pro rata, plus superannuation

About the role
The Presenter Services Coordinator is the key point of connection between St Martins and the artists, presenters and organisations who use our spaces. This role ensures a welcoming, efficient and high-quality experience for all hirers, guiding them through the full venue hire journey from initial enquiry and booking through to event delivery and finalisation.
Working closely with the Venue and Operations Manager, the Presenter Services Coordinator plays an important role in activating St Martins Youth Arts Centre as a vibrant hub for youth arts, independent artists and the wider creative community. The role combines strong customer service, venue coordination and systems management with a proactive approach to building relationships, a creative take on maximising the use of our spaces, meeting financial targets and supporting the delivery of inspiring events and creative activity.
Duties
- To oversee and ensure the delivery and monitoring of excellent customer service to all clients, patrons and hirers of St Martins Youth Arts Centre spaces.
- To oversee the delivery of a high-quality ‘end to end’ (from initial booking to final invoicing) experience for presenters and hirers to support safe and sustainable use of St Martins Youth Arts Centre spaces.
- Ensure St Martins is a welcoming and supportive host for internal and external users, delivering client satisfaction and building St Martins reputation.
- In collaboration with the Venue and Operations Manager to assess risk, manage induction processes and consider organisational risk in the venue and venue hire program for St Martins Youth Arts Centre.
- To develop and maintain an appropriate administration and booking system for all the spaces and be responsible for facility booking, event management and the financial processes.
- To help set venue hire rates that accurately and fairly reflect our position in the marketplace, which will include regular market and audience analysis.
- To negotiate hire rates appropriate to the needs of both St Martins and external hirers.
- To manage contracts for venue hirers and casual venue employees.
- Assist with invoice payment and debt recovery.
- To monitor the scheduling of all events at St Martins to ensure maximum usage and efficient use of all spaces.
- To collate and report on use of the spaces.
- To participate in developing programs and consider how St Martins Youth Arts Centre venues can grow and fund relevant service initiatives and partnerships.
- To contribute to organisation wide planning initiatives.

- Experience with venue technical operations (lighting, sound or production support).
- Experience with digital systems or IT platforms relevant to venue booking, event management or organisational administration.
