Held annually in October, Melbourne International Games Week (MIGW) is the largest digital games celebration in the Asia-Pacific, featuring conferences, events and activities for the games industry, educators, games enthusiasts and the general public. In 2026 and 2027, MIGW will be delivered by ACMI.

About the role

ACMI is seeking a MIGW Senior Producer to collaborate with key industry partners and stakeholders to deliver MIGW successfully and achieve its strategic objectives. The role includes managing stakeholder engagement and relationships whilst contributing to festival direction. This is a new full-time fixed term role until 30 November 2027, reporting to the Head of MIGW.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Knowledge of current video games industry landscape and demonstrated expertise in producing related events and/or expert knowledge designing, facilitating, or performing programs for a cultural or arts organisation.
  • Proven experience coordinating and delivering premium events in a commercial or festival environment including excellent relationship management skills.
  • Highly developed organisation and priority management skills to deliver against agreed objectives within a multi-faceted events environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills and proven ability to work across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, with particular emphasis on working competently and co-operatively.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work with, and build on, the creative ideas of others.

  • Full-time fixed term role until 30 November 2027. Grade 4 role with a starting salary of $97,955 plus super.
