Marketing Coordinator
ILBIJERRI Theatre Company is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator with a passion for amplifying First Peoples stories.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will play an essential role in connecting audiences and presenters across the country with First Peoples artists and theatrical works.

ILBIJERRI is the longest-established First Peoples’ theatre company in Australia, celebrating 30years strong in 2021 and creating, presenting and touring powerful and engaging theatre by FirstPeoples artists to audiences across Australia and the world. ILBIJERRI Theatre Company is a fast-growing company, recently joining the National Performing Arts Partnership Framework (NPAPF), and increasing its reach and influence across the performing arts sector. Our creative processes support the empowerment of First Peoples artists and communities to tell our stories, from our perspective.
Established in 1990 as an NFP cooperative company, ILBIJERRI is the longest running First Peoples theatre company in Australia. Since 1990 we have been initiating and developing performances in collaboration with our community and artists. ILBIJERRI productions have toured nationally and internationally, received critical acclaim and resonated with both First Peoples and non-First Peoples audiences.

SELECTION CRITERIA
• Strong written communication skills, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail andan ability to tailor arguments to different audiences
• Proficient computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, Hootsuite and WordPress
• A “self starter” who is confident working independently, takes initiative to identifyopportunities and anticipate future needs, and takes responsibility for seeing tasks through tocompletion
• Excellent organisational skills including strong time management skills
• Academic qualification and/or at least 12 months professional experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
• Ability to articulate a clear understanding of ILBIJERRI’s purpose, vision and values
• Demonstrates the confidence and capability to build collaborative relationships with internaland external stakeholders
Desirable Experience• Understanding and interest in the performing arts sector and/or First Peoples social impactwork
• Experience using Humanitix, Airtable and/or Salesforce
