Marketing and Development Manager

Canberra Glassworks is looking for a creative, strategic and commercially minded Marketing and Development Manager to help shape our next chapter.

As Australia’s leading centres for contemporary glass, Canberra Glassworks is a place where artists experiment, ideas take shape and traditional craft skills meet contemporary practice.

About the role

Working closely with the Director and across our creative and commercial teams, you’ll lead our marketing, communications and audience development strategies, helping us connect more people with the extraordinary work happening at Canberra Glassworks.

You’ll play a key role in shaping our digital future, including leading the redevelopment of our website. You’ll also develop campaigns that grow visitation, participation and sales, strengthen our public profile, and build meaningful relationships with audiences, supporters and partners.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Brings fresh ideas, strategic thinking and strong creative judgement.
• Has experience leading marketing and communications campaigns that deliver measurable results.
• Understands digital marketing, audience development and customer engagement.
• Can confidently manage creative projects, external specialists and budgets.
• Sees the connection between compelling storytelling, cultural impact and commercial sustainability.
• Enjoys working collaboratively in a dynamic creative environment.

Experience in the arts and cultural sector is welcome, but we’re equally interested in people bringing fresh perspectives and experience from other industries.
