The Australian School of Performing Arts (ASPA) is Australia’s leading children’s performing arts organisation and home of the 6,500 strong Australian Girls Choir (AGC), ASPA Education and Raw Energy Dance Education (REDed). About the Role

Based in our Kew East Head Office and reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and hands-on Marketing Manager who thrives on delivering results. With a proactive, can-do mindset, strong attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you’ll bring a well-rounded understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels and be confident balancing strategy with execution. Alongside the Executive Director, you’ll play a key role in driving ASPA’s marketing strategy to generate enrolments and business growth, while leading and developing a small, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with  the Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development to develop and execute ASPA’s marketing strategy across digital and traditional channels to drive enrolments and growth.
  • Inspire, lead, mentor and develop the marketing team, fostering growth and collaborative culture.
  • Oversee key marketing functions including social media, digital advertising, email marketing, website management, SEO, brand and sales funnels.
  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, content creation and performance optimisation.
  • Manage and evolve ASPA’s websites and content, ensuring accuracy, engagement and effective user experience.
  • Support marketing budget planning and management, including campaign tracking, analysis and reporting.
  • Identify growth opportunities, emerging trends and innovations, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive outcomes.
  • Liaise with the Enrolments Manager and Public Relations Manager in relevant areas of connection.

Qualities and Experience that will make you successful:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field and 5+ years’ marketing experience, with leadership experience preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messaging and produce compelling content through strong storytelling techniques.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities and deliver results
  • Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh, innovative ideas
  • Experience with platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and Analytics, Adobe Suite and Canva (desirable)
  • A genuine passion for the arts, education and/or youth development
  • Valid Working with Children Check
