Based on Bundjalung Country in Lismore, NORPA is a leading theatre company, creating bold, original, place-based work. As we embed our new creative home, The Joinery, into the cultural life of the Northern Rivers, we’re seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to support the viability and realisation of our vision.
This is a pivotal role working closely with the executive team and Board to grow partnerships, secure new income streams, and lead a major capital campaign for The Joinery. As an important part of our small but dynamic team, you will develop fundraising strategies, create propositions and applications as well as administer partnership agreement deliverables.
What you’ll do:
- Implement fundraising strategy, partnerships, and donor development
- Drive and coordinate a major capital campaign
- Build meaningful relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners
- Create compelling proposals, grants, and campaigns
- Deliver events and engagement opportunities
What you bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in partnerships, fundraising, or development
- A strong understanding of the arts and cultural sector
- Proven success delivering campaigns (capital campaign experience highly regarded)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Attention to detail and exemplary project management skills
The role:
- Part-time (3 days or 24 hours/week, flexible)
- $110K pro rata
- Based in Lismore with hybrid options
