Make a real impact with one of Australia’s most dynamic Indigenous-led art collectives.

The APY Art Centre Collective (APYACC) is a thriving social enterprise owned and governed by Aboriginal artists across the APY Lands. We operate major galleries in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, and support regional art centres that showcase First Nations art on a global stage.

We’re looking for a Finance & Payroll Officer who thrives in a fast-paced, values-driven environment. This is a hands-on, office-based role – embedded in a collaborative finance team at our Thebarton HQ, with limited scope for remote work.

What You’ll Do

  • Process payroll, superannuation and entitlements.
  • Manage weekly artist payments (the “money story”).
  • Maintain accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist with BAS, PAYG, month-end and audit preparation.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–4 years’ experience in finance/payroll/bookkeeping.
  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or relevant degree.
  • Proficiency in MYOB and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and team-oriented approach.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of an inclusive, culturally rich workplace.
  • Salary packaging benefits + on-site parking.
  • Grow with us – role expands to full-time in 2026.
  • Staff discounts on incredible First Nations artworks.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people strongly encouraged to apply.
