Finance Manager

JamFactory is seeking a Finance Manager to join the team.

The Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function for the organisation, overseeing accounting procedures, costings and reporting. Working closely with the General Manager to implement strategy, the Finance Manager supervises two positions within the team, with a goal to providing the organisation with timely, accurate and proactive financial management. 

The key responsibilities of the position include: 

• Regular reconciliation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts 

• Leading financial functions for Studios including stocktaking and cost accounting 

• Preparation of regular, accurate financial reports for Executive and Board 

• Supervise staff delivering payroll and accounts receivable/payable functions 

• Assist with the organisation’s annual audit and on-going compliance obligations 

The successful applicant will have strong knowledge of accounting procedures and systems, the ability to work collaboratively and think strategically and imaginatively. Previous experience in an arts or non-profit sector context is highly desirable.
