Exhibitions & Projects Coordinator

Craft is looking to welcome a dynamic and collaborative individual to support the development and delivery of our exhibitions, program and projects.
The Exhibitions & Project Coordinator is a key role in a creative and fast‐paced team, providing exceptional coordination and results driven outcomes. Working collaboratively with all Craft staff, this role actively contributes to building a positive workplace and team culture.
Scope of the position covers –
- Exhibitions, including public programs, workshops and events
- Projects through Craft’s Agency Services
The position works dynamically across all areas of Craft’s activities, adapting to opportunities with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Coordination and oversight of a range of exhibitions, programs and projects.
- Communication and liaising with artists, contractors, clients and stakeholders.
- Administration, documentation and record keeping, including contracts and agreements.
- Preparation of presentations and reports across a range of programs and projects.
- Contribute to Craft’s strategic plans and actively advocate for the organisation and its purpose.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Experience in producing and delivering exhibitions, programs and creative projects.
- Highly developed administration, written and verbal communication skills, including cultural competency, consciousness and safety in working with artists, staff and contractors.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- Collaborative working style and openness to continual improvement.
- Growth mindset and entrepreneurial thinker.
- Solutions-based approach to problem solving with strong attention to detail and superior organisation skills.
ENGAGEMENT: Ongoing, 0.8 – Full time
SALARY RANGE: $68,000 – 72,000 per annum pro rata (depending on experience) + superannuation.
