PAY – $95,000 – $115,000
Woodward Productions is an independent theatre company producing bold, audience-first work across Australia and internationally. Our productions include The 39 Steps, The Woman in Black, and Little Shop of Horrors and A Very Naughty Christmas, with a strong focus on touring, remounts, and commercially successful seasons.
We are seeking an Executive Producer & General Manager to take senior responsibility for the producing, operational, and industrial management of specific productions alongside the company director.
This role is suited to a confident, hands-on producer who has run shows before and understands the realities of professional theatre production.
Key Responsibilities

Executive oversight of live productions from development to close

Management of budgets, schedules, contracts, and cashflow

Day-to-day operational and general management of productions

Leadership of producers, staff, and freelance teams

Oversight of touring, remounts, and seasonal programming

Responsibility for industrial compliance and employment frameworks
Essential Experience
-
3+ years’ professional producing and/or general management experience
-
Demonstrated experience running live theatre productions

Extensive working knowledge of the Live Performance Award (LPA)

Strong familiarity with PCA agreements

Confidence managing budgets, contracts, and people
