Chamber Made cultivates adventurous multi-artform practice to disrupt and rewrite conventions of live performance. The company is led by acclaimed performance-maker and director, Tamara Saulwick, whose works are defined by a deep engagement with sound and music. Chamber Made has presented over 100 performance seasons in Australia, NZ, Asia, Europe, USA and South America, receiving multiple award nominations and wins. The company has commissioned over 56 new Australian works since it was founded in 1988.

As Chamber Made moves towards its 40th year, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Producer to join Artistic Director and CEO Tamara Saulwick in leading the organisation. The Executive Producer role has become available for the first time in over eight years, with strong foundations to build on and an exciting opportunity to help shape what Chamber Made becomes in the decade ahead.
The Executive Producer will work in close partnership with the Artistic Director, the Board, and staff to lead operations, finances, governance, and income diversification, and to build the external relationships that allow Chamber Made’s work to flourish. Central to the role is a shared investment in the company’s artistic and strategic vision, and the capability to help realise it. The Executive Producer reports directly to the Artistic Director/CEO and prepares reports to the Board.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader with strong organisational and financial capability, deep knowledge of the performing arts, and well-developed networks across the sector. You will bring a passion for cross-artform practice and the artists who drive it and be motivated by helping adventurous work find the audiences and resources it deserves.
