Events Team Leader

Rural City of Wangaratta is seeking an Events Team Leader to deliver engaging, high‑impact community events.

Events Team Leader – Bring Community to Life! 

Wangaratta, VIC | Permanent Full Time | $88,121 per annum + super 

Are you passionate about delivering vibrant community events?

We are looking for someone to join our team who thrives on planning and delivering engaging experiences for the community. If you have a creative mindset, strong budgeting skills, and the physical capability to help bring events to life, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a key contributor to Council’s free and low-cost summer event season, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing memorable events. The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
  • Understand and mitigate risks associated with events
  • Think strategically about how decisions impact others and the organisation
  • Have the ability to work after hours and weekends
  • By physically fit and able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Be able to upskill and support community members to deliver their events
