Look Corporate / Standish and Co is seeking a dynamic, perceptive, and visually fluent Digital Imaging Specialist / PrePress Technician to join our passionate team. This is a role where art meets precision—you’ll operate one of Australia’s most advanced large format scanning systems, but your real edge will be your ability to connect deeply with clients, understand their visual world, and deliver outcomes they didn’t know were possible.We work with artists, galleries, government, private institutions, manufacturers, designers, decorators, and creatives of all kinds. This is not a passive, task-based job—it’s a frontline role where your ability to think, listen, interpret and guide will make the difference.

Core Responsibilities

Operate our cutting-edge scanner with DC Synchrolight, SuperScan and photometric 3D capture to create reproduction, publication and archive-ready filesManage, advise, and build strong relationships with artists, institutions, and other visual professionalsCalibrate lighting and scanner settings to ensure precision capture and colour fidelityHandle delicate artworks with conservation-safe practices and careColour-correct and file-manage large digital artworks for accurate and consistent output across mediaCollaborate with account managers, sales, and production to advise clients on the best visual approach for their goals

Extended Responsibilities and variety when required

Assist with prepress tasks including layout checks, imposition, trapping, proofing, and final print readinessPrepare files for a wide range of outputs, from one-off archival prints to national retail rolloutsSupport the broader production team in delivering work that reflects our exacting standards and values

What You’ll Bring

3+ years background in arts, galleries, visual merchandising, display, museum work, or client-facing creative roles preferred3+ years of experience in prepress, digital imaging, or visual production

Deep care for the arts and genuine interest in helping artists and institutions tell their story visuallyStrong Adobe CC skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Proven skill in colour management, file preparation, and technical artwork handlingOutstanding interpersonal skills—able to listen, translate, guide and collaborate with a wide range of people
