Our client is on the hunt for a Designer with a strong graphic design skill set and the creative flair to bring licensed apparel to life. This is your chance to work with major Australian retailers and some of the world’s most loved brands, designing for Children’s, Teens, Men’s, and Ladies’ categories.
About The Role: Reporting to the Account Manager, you will design and develop apparel ranges across multiple categories, delivering designs that are both fashion-forward and commercially successful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research trends, colours, and shapes to produce seasonal mood boards.
- Design compelling storyboards and product mock-ups in Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Create yardage and placement prints with strong graphic appeal.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Maintain brand integrity while pushing creative boundaries.
About You:
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
- Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design or Graphic Design.
- Previous experience in licensed apparel design (advantageous not but necessary).
- Passion for trend research and the ability to translate trends into commercial product.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacture, fabrics, and print processes.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and a team player with a positive attitude.
